I used to think (and still do in some ways) as a coach I need to know everything.
I am wondering who was that idol who put so much pressure on our shoulders - because I realized, in my work with clients, how much we still do that.
What is being human for you?
How do you feel, when you realize - oh, I was wrong.
Being human makes me feel humble. About life. About my breath. And my aging body.
Being half century on this planet make be feel humble as well.
I think this is it.
I remember in the past a relationship I had and that person was very much like Eckart Tolle. Once I cried and he said in a very sarcastic tone "Ah, the pain body shows up." In that moment I decided I like Eckart Tolle, but now, with all my knowledgte and experience about trauma, I would call the behaviour of that person "spiritual bypassing". Or emotional neglect.
And yes, we ARE spiritual beings. But I am grateful for my training as a former triathlete, as well. It was for me more being human than that moment.
